Animation

Activate the Animate feature under the Prompt section in the Studio to generate 2-second animations.

Examples

"Kamen Rider, RPG Reference, art by ilya kuvshinov, artgerm, Alphonse mucha, and Greg Rutkowski, Trending on Artstation, octane render, Insanely Detailed, 8k, HD"
Model: Colorful

"Nami from One Pieced with Tokyo in the background, cyberpunk outfit, contemplating, looking at camera, (symmetry)1.3"
Model: Comics Arthemy

"Makima from chainsaw man with Tokyo in the background, cyberpunk outfit, contemplating, looking at camera, (symmetry)1.3"
Model: Comics Arthemy

How it Works

You can generate animations by enabling the "Animate" toggle under the prompt. The AI model will generate a 2-second animation based on the input prompt and parameters.

Generating an animation

Recommended Settings

We recommend using the following settings to generate animations:
  • Model: Dreamshaper V5, Comics Arthemy, Colorful, Dark Sushi 2.25D (Note: Animate does not work for Stable Diffusion 1.5 or rMada 2.1 models).
  • Prompt Styles: fcPortrait, fcDetailPortrait embeddings (for character portrait animations).
  • Quality: 25
  • Prompt Guidance: 12

Constraints and Limitations

Enabling Animate imposes certain constraints due to memory limits. For example, the maximum width and height are capped at 768px, Quality is limited to 40 steps, and the Scheduler is set to DDIM. Also, you can only generate one animation at a time. Animate currently only works with 1.5 based models.

Generation Time

Animations take longer to generate than static images, sometimes over 60 seconds. It's a good practice to generate a regular image first to check if it meets your expectations before generating an animation.

Quality and Guidance

For more vivid animations, set Prompt guidance between 10-12. A Quality setting of 20 or 25 usually produces good results.

Viewing and Downloading

Completed animations appear in the Generation History grid and My Gallery. They're marked with a "Play" icon and can be downloaded as .mp4 files.
